Brochures

Brochures, Reports and Accounts, Technical Pulications. Over the 30 years that I have been doing graphic design these three things have been the backbone of my work. They come in all shapes and sizes whether utilising white space to create a clean and classic vision to the complex typographical challenges of a technical brochure, they are all absorbing and at the very end a satisfying thing to produce. Any designer with my level of experience will know the stomach churning nerves of sending a, perfect bound, 150 page brochure off to the printers for a run that could go into the thousands then to see a completed glossy version come back (without errors that were not spotted by anyone except the first person to pick it up when the box is opened) gave a great deal of pride, vindication and relief!!

Brochures are still a large part of my work and having worked closely with commercial printers of all sizes the brochure is still a cornerstone of any brand whether digital or a physical version handed out to clients or at exhibitions.
