CONTEMPLATING DESIGN
My name is Laura Scott and I’m a creative graphic designer, illustrator and outdoors person!. I excel at creating accessible, brand aligned artwork, interpreting and breathing life into a client brief.
This is what I have been doing for over 30 years. The last 5 years I have been complementing my income with dog walking. Allowing me to spend time out in the forest and take photos of landscapes and wildlife that I often incorporate into my work either as photography or as illustration.
Being in this industry for as long as I have means I have a background knowledge in all aspects of print design, in particular. Having said that though, web design has become a part of most designers portfolio and I include myself in that. The disciplines are inherently different but layout, as well as understanding fonts and colour means that websites don't have to all look the same.
